THIRU VI KA HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Thiru Vi Ka Higher Secondary School, Chennai was founded by the Great Tamil Scholar and a visionary Thiru M. Varadharasanar, was established in the year 1955 and ever since it has been catering to the needs of poor and middle class society of Chennai. This institution has been generating many successful persons, who has been contributing effectively to the society without much pompous and fanfare. But yet, it could not expand its infrastructure and hence, the Alumni of this institution, who are successful in various fields and spread across globe, have decided to form an association (2008) to take care of the basic needs of this great school and its students coming from lower economic state of the society.

The Thiru Vi Ka Alumni Association was officially started in 2008 and at present there are 400+ members.
The President of the association is Mr .D. Sundhararajan.

Thiru Vi Ka Alumni Association is involved in a number of activities at Thiru Vi Ka Higher Secondary School.
Prominent among them are Independence Day celebration.
The Thiru Vi Ka Alumni Association provides scholarship to the deserving students who are in need of he same. The Association provides scholarship to the tune of Rs.60,000/- per year
